Ballet in Lincoln
Ballet is “…a classical dance form characterised by grace and precision of movement and by elaborate formal gestures, steps and poses…”.
Most people know what ballet is, but few are familiar with the established syllabi used to teach it. Our classes follow the Imperial Society of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus, formed in 1904 and which today is the world’s leading dance examinations board. The ISTD is a registered educational charity and is the only organisation that covers the full spectrum of dance examinations on a truly global scale.
